Yesterday was spent meeting up with Bunthorn and hearing all about his plans to do a Masters degree.
We then had lunch with a slowly recovering Ian.
This morning I felt I wanted a treat so I asked the receptionist where can I get a shampoo, she said turn left until you get to the market. At the end of this very expat street is a very local market. Now when I was here before I bought a knife that is great - still using it when in England - and I have been meaning to buy another one. Found it and bought it for $2 - didn’t even haggle.
Coming out of the market I went into an up market hair salon and paid the princely sum of $3 for a shampoo that lasted nearly an hour. Pure bliss.
Just waiting for Ian to turn up for a last coffee and then it is 17hours travelling to get back to a cold damp England.
