The website was down all day yesterday so I couldn't write anything - hopefully I can remember what we did.
We went down to Macy's in the morning so we could go to Santaland & have a Santa photo. We went up to Santaland to find the biggest queue ever so we didn't bother waiting. We thought we would have a look around Macy's while we were there. The mornings & evenings are below zero so we can't be without our coats. But, it is really annoying to have them while trying to shop. It is also very warm in the stores which isn't pleasant. We didn't end up staying too long. We had a look at their Christmas windows & in a couple of nearby stores.
Robyn wanted to buy some new boots as she was finding her snow boots too hot. She looked up a shop back uptown so we walked up to Grand Central Station to catch a train. The shop she wanted was right near Bloomingdales so we went in. I wanted to look at the Christmas store and wephen we got up there we found Santa. There was no one waiting to see him so we were able to have a photo with him.
The top temperature today was 0 & forecast to be similar for the next day. It is possible we could get flurries on Thursday but then 'unseasonably warm' weather is forecast for the Christmas weekend. No white Christmas here!!! I'm very glad we had snow last week.
