Hello,

Well the next morning we had a full bus of people as loads of others who had stopped in Nelson joined our bus and we made our way to Westport. On the way we stopped at Nelson lakes national park, which was lovely, we have some really nice photos of the lake, the mountains reflect of it and its so beautiful. Whilst there we done an hours walk in the forest, which wasnt that good as you were pretty much just looking at the ground the whole way to make sure you didnt trip over any rocks or tree branches lol.

When we finished our walk we had lunch and a few crazy people decided to jump into the lake lol i dont know how they done it, it was so cold lol. After stopping there we carried on our journey down the buller river the road was so windy im suprised none of us were ill lol.

When we got to Westport there was a chance to go quad biking, horse riding or jet boatig along the river but me and kev thought we'd give that a miss as well due to saving our money and luckily as the people who went jet boating the boat broke down and they had to wait around up the river for an hour to be fixed and then when it was finally fixed they were jet boating in the dark lol.

I ended up going to sleep again when we got to Westport as i was still feeling ill :(, there was a walk to do up the beach but it was so cold we gave it a miss. Kev made himself some dinner and done some washing and when i woke up latter we got some food from the chineese place, (no kev didnt have chineese, they did burgers lol). Anyway that was about it for Westport wasn't alot there so we only stayed the night again and had another early start to Lake Manihpua the next day. xxxxxxxxxxxx
