Yep after a quick refresh at the hotel we decide to go Rome'ing
So here we are, our first Steps in Rome and they're not even Italian. They're Spanish. Not only that they're boarded up and being refurbished.
The view from the top is pretty special though. You can see St. Peter's. And the Vatican.
Part of the steps are open still while they repair years of damage and you can see how stunning they're are from the bottom despite the boardings.
The fountain at the bottom is good though.

It's been a long day so far with limited food and drink. The roll on the plane was just about a mouthful.
Jacqui spots a nice looking outdoor restaurant..
It's a nice outdoor pizzeria just off the Spagna Piazza
Jacqui orders a cheese and ham pizza and I have pork loin purá
The pizza comes our on a big plate, it's a yummy looking thin crisp that tastes as good as I looks.
My Pork loin arrives with the Purá or purée mash potato, thankfully it doesn't tast like it looks.
