After leaving Sant Peters' Piazza Jaqjaq and I meandered our way along Via della Conciliazione looking at the gift shops along the way; it's quite unbelievable the amount of tack that can be bought in these shops, all with pictures of the smiling Papa Francisco. By this time both of us were starting to lag and were in definite need of a drink. I started going towards one of the street vendors to get some fizz but Jaqjaq with her common sense pointed to the cast...

After a short climb up the spiral staircase we come to some doors and out on to Museum Terrace with an excellent view of St Peter's Basilica and the lush Vatican gardens.
