We go to the reception desk and go I straight in with the ;Guten Abend' but the young lady at the reception just answered 'Good Evening', ho hum got a few days to practice. After a few minutes we''re all checked in and off to our room. Unfortunately, it's brand new 8 floor hotel and we're in the basement, floor zero, So much for good views of the city. But there is a nice Christmas Tree outside our window and the room is very nice.

After a quick comfort break and a nose around the room we're back upto reception to confirm that the ticket we purchased at the airport will get us into the City and Back (as long as we're back by half 10)
We nip back to the train station then and grab Station Selfie no. 3
Within a few minutes the train arrives and we're off to Marienplatz.
