Spent all of yesterday taking the fuel tank out, discovered a leak, but managed to repair it and get it back in again with the help of Sid (our new best friend) who has a workshop with a hoist and lent us a huge hand of help, but onwards and upwards, Tdy we did a 4 hour round trip to Williams to meet "Landy" Andy, a font of knowledge on Land Rovers and quite character with a fondness for these vehicles and home brewing, freely sharing his knowledge with us..a gent

Tmrrw is another day, Alf is coming down to help with boat (plus a few other things he doesn't know abt yet) so first put on roof rack then boat, attach side tent, (better try it before we go, some of it has never been unwrapped), Geoff's sorted wiring/plug for the fridge tonnite ready for putting in, and we also get the new tyres, ....fingers crossed we may still get away Tues ...Wed..????
