First day, got everything packed into the Land rover, a late start but made it to Hayden by 19.30, it was dark and weather against us so signed into local motel, a very comfortable night, good breakfast and off to Kalgoolie,the Land rover is running well, travelled all day and now at our destination, it is now 17.00 hrs and we are setting up our tents and swags
Grandchildren look at yr maps, we have travelled from Mandurah to Kalgoolie (which is a huge gold mine, an enorrmous hole in the ground )tmrrw its off road travel to Uluru (Ayres Rock), it will take us two days, I dont know if we hve an internet connection, so dont be worrying if u hear nothing ... Love to u all.....Grandma is on her way home... hve a safe flight my love..
