Seemed to have been censored again and have no idea why. Just wanted to congratulate you on your excellent photos. Pity about that camera you took so much trouble over buying...told you you should have bought through Amazon. Look for a waterproof one

\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\You've become true explorers, what an amazing trip. That Landrover did you proud to get that far before giving up the ghost. Did you both good I'm sure. Expect it was nice to see Tegan and Trudy again as much as it was nice for them too.
Apparently my 2CV expert back in Wycombe made a trip across Oz in one. can you believe that?! Doubt if he had the adventure that you had, probably not a fisherman either. Great stuff, well done the pair of you....and Alf. x

What an amazing Adventure before Dementia you have shared with us; I am sure it was all that you hoped and more. Older guys rule! Yeah! loads of love to all three of you xxx
Barbara
Good to hear from you. Fishing seems to be developing....David please tell me you have some spectacles in your next blog! Love to you all xxx

Seemed to object to something I wrote in last message but can't discover what? Might have been Blighty or Landy. Who knows!

Really good photos. I naively thought you would continue through a wilderness meeting just the odd fellow on the way. However you seem to have been socializing non stop with some real characters. Going to seem a little hum drum back in Britain but lovely to see Barbara again of course.
Sounds like the work you have both on the Landrover has done you credit. Keep on trucking ...as we used to say in the 60s and 70s x
David Brett
Don't know what all the fuss is about! For £70 you you lost your glasses and the camera. How mean. Bet this escapade was not part of your plan but what an amazing adventure. You all acted brilliantly and it's one hell of a tale to tell. Sounds like you had a whale of a time after your well deserved sleep. Margaret and I send our Love to you all xxx
Barbara
Don't know what to say! Three days on from your verbal report, I am still speechless( a rare state for me). For now I'll just say "Love you guys" :) xxx

We're both so very, very relieved to hear you and Alf are OK, obviously. You are both heroes to act the way you did. One can only imagine the terrible fear it must have created or maybe the immediate danger kept you going. How poor Geoff must have gone through with no option but to wait and hope. But all that matters now, of course, is that you're safe and sound xxx
Barbara
So good to hear your adventures: your descriptions take me there :) .xxB

Some outstanding photos . Too beautiful for words. To have been there must be magic. Look after each other Remember Alf's in charge...he's the eldest!xx
