Here it is, time to take off. We are in New York JFK airport ready to take off for Colombo via Doha Qatar. We drove from Boston in the rain, the long term parking guys were not keen on our Boston Red Sox hats (must be Yankie fans), thankfully its an old car (who knows what they will do). Here's the day one, zero mile photo and the " car pig" a good luck charm that lives on the dashboard.

Simon and Mary Hall Hope you have a wonderful time. We enjoyed our time in Wales with your mum, it did us all good. Nick called in for supper on Wednesday, and we hope to see him again as he has an extended stay in St Neots coming up if all goes well and management confirm it. Love from Mary and Simon
