Canggu was very similar to Seminyak but we were there for Emma to meet up with a friend from New Zealand. We stayed at a great Airbnb with a plunge pool and checked out the area and chilled at the beach and restaurants. We caught up with Savannah and her family at a restaurant which had very cool decor and then they took us out to the gay bars with the lady boys doing lip sync. A prelude to Bangkok l guess.

We then stayed back in Kuta as Emma wanted to check that out before having some sad goodbyes as we saw her off at the airport. Tomorrow we are off to Bangkok which is exciting as we now need a change of scene which we know Bangkok will be like Kuta on speed. Eccckk but there are some good things to see so hopefully all will be fine and just when we had sussed out the crazy currency here too of NZD1 equalling IDR10,000! We shall miss the people though.
