Apparently we are brave, or so quite a few people have said. I certainly don't feel that way. Maybe a tad crazy and irresponsible?

I am (Sarah) 46 years old and my husband, Josh is 49 and we have sold our home and quit our jobs to go travelling for the next six months. We are off to find ourselves after raising our two 19 year olds, Emma and Connor. So here we come, 23 flights, five continents, 16 countries over 30 weeks!
We packed up our house into a 20 foot container after selling a few sticks of furniture and sold our cars, rehomed (hopefully temporarily) our cat and said goodbye to friends and then our son who is at university (which was darn hard with mixed emotions).

Auckland greeted us and we hired a teeny car and shot up to sub tropical Coromandel to see my Mother for a few days.

Back again to Auckland (after much delay due to slips on the coast road) to see family and friends before flying out to Denpasar, Bali on the 27th June 2017.
