I woke up and felt like death. Breakfast was included in our rate and served between 8am and 9.30am, so we had to go and eat before the kitchen was closed. I ate by omlette on my toast with a slice of cheese, drank my coffee and orange juice and then went back to bed. 2 paracetemol and some nose spray, horizontal postion engaged.
Edd then brought up some tea for me: apparently the Dutch lady had asked him what the matter was with me and he'd informed her of my ill health. She had then made some sort of tea concoction for me to drink and he had dutifully brought it up to his ailing fiancé. The tea was delicious and my throat immediately felt better; I had to find out what the tea was made of.
5 hours later, I woke up and was hungry. I spent most of that time with a fever, so had a shower to freshen up. Edd was sitting on the balcony and asked me where I was going: I informed him that I was hungry and going to have some lunch. Apparently it was 2.30pm and the kitchen was closed, there was no lunch. Dammit. I got back into bed. I then sat and played Mexican Trains on my iPad and then blogged for a little while before having another short nap.
We all made our way down to dinner, me trailing behind the boys. Edd had ordered me a G&T and we sat in the relaxation area on the purple beanbags until dinner was served.
7pm came and we were asked to move to the restaurant area: Edd and I had ordered beef stew and Cip had decided to have the fish Laksa, chef style. Again, it was far too much food and Edd attempted to finish mine for me. I ate one of Cip's prawns, but couldn't face the second one - I was simply too full.
I then went back to bed after another glass of the mysterious tea. I had slept most of the day and hoped htat it would not mean I would spent the ngiht wide awake. Edd came to bed with me and we both got an early night.
