So much to write about and i feel like I've forgotten stuff but here goes. So yesterday/last night was try eve and so we chilled out and then went to the beach for the afternoon. After I had my mock tails and crispy prawns and a swim we laid and got some sun before heading home and getting ready for our 3rd new year.
We got a pedicure and then went to the river where they were going to have fireworks at midnight. We walked around had dinner and then I needed to pee so we went into this little food shop where all the locals we're sitting. We bought some beers and got asked to sit with a group of youngish Vietnamese people. They kept pouring us beer and before we knew it it was 12 o'clock and the fire works went off they were massive and where they went off was like 50m away and everything kept catching fire and some landed near a group of people kinda scary! After a 20min chat we figured out they wanted to take us to the night club called dragon. We were he only Westerners there! So funny! When you walk in and sit down at the high tables you are greeted with a plate of fruit and a bowl of chilli salt which you dip the fruit into. Ten they would light your cigarette for you and give you a wet wipe to wipe your face! We hopped on the back of their scooters (which was scary cause they weren't sober ) and arrived back at our place where a whole group of people and the receptionist guys were drinking and chatting. We joined the gathering and ended up going to sleep at 4am only to wake up t 1:30pm!! We got some breakfast/lunch from one of the few places open posted our stuff home (the post office people come to you!) and now we are sitting wondering what to do because it's cold and overcast outside
