Film festival Starts tomorrow!!!

Easter was great! We all actually got up and went to mass because it was right outside in the chapel. Right after brunch we headed to the beach for the rest of the day. I ended up only being slightly burned and actually got some color. Now I remember why i chose to study in Cannes. IT IS GORGEOUS!! Also...yay for having an extra day off from classes!

Just got back from Paris. There is no way that you can see that city in 3 days but I think we did a pretty good job. We saw everything from the Arc de Triomphe to the Eiffel Tower from on top and at night! The Musee d'Orsay and of course the Louvre. You can't do Paris without the Louvre. This weekend I went to Lyon, France. Caitlin, Lauren, Samantha and I went up on Friday afternoon. Then, Heather and Courtney joined us on Saturday. Dan also showed up; he had missed his flight home on Friday, so he decided to stay an extra day. Lyon is a great city. There is an awesome young atmosphere and there are plenty of things to do. The night life was great and there were plenty of sights to see during the day. I do not however recommend the Hotel Bretag...

So I am already completely addicted to the coffee in France. I often have 2 cups of cafe au lait at breakfast and then at least one expresso at Le Foyer during the afternoon. The best part of the day is sitting at Le Foyer in the middle of the afternoon just doing homework. Plus this gives you a great view to do some people watching...which I love.
