-Dawn- The past three days in London have been quite nice. On Saturday we went to 221b Baker St. the fictional home of the infamous Sherlock Holmes. There is now a museum there and a replica of the apartment as it is described in the novels. -Dawn- Today we spent seeing the Tower of London, which is not "a" tower really but 20 towers. It's basically a big palace where they kept important people prisoner and even tortured some of them. We got to have a very energetic andentertaining yeoman warder lead us around the grouns and tell us the history of the different prisoners who lived there and the misdeeds that were said to have been accomplished. -Dawn- We had a very interesting time getting to London today. So, we took the overnight train from Rome to Paris, and all was well when we woke up at 8:30am or so, with the train schedualed to arrive at 9:10 am. Only when we stopped at about 9:30 that mornign we weren't in Paris at all, we were only in Dijon. We wouldn't be arriving in Paris until 12:00pm. -Dawn- Today, was dedicated to Vatican city. We woke up at 6:00am and took the matro to the Vatican. We got in line to the the Vatican Museum by about 7:15 and waited in line till the museum opened at 8:45. Once it opened we were at the head of the line and got into the museum in only 5 minutes. -Dawn- Rome is really an awesome city, It is so ancient it's amazing. We took a hop on hop off bus tour today of the ancient ruins on the outskirts of the city. We went down and saw the St. Callista Catacombes, which are the oldest of the three main catacombes in the area we were at.
