-Dawn- Rome is really an awesome city, It is so ancient it's amazing. We took a hop on hop off bus tour today of the ancient ruins on the outskirts of the city. We went down and saw the St. Callista Catacombes, which are the oldest of the three main catacombes in the area we were at. It has a gallery of tombs which held popes from the third century as well the tomb of it's namesake St. Callista. We also saw the colleseaum and some of thew roman forum, as well as some more ancient palace ruins and monuments. To wrap up the day we went into the Pantheon, which is a really amazing peice of architecture, and very pretty. Tomorrow we will attempt to go the the mass in St. Peter's square held by the one the only Pope himself. Ciao. -Dawn-
