Hello Si!!!
Finally sat down to read your blogs and look at photos. Nice to be the one not battling with insects and local taxi drivers for a change :) Cockroaches sound delightful ... I'm glad you're enjoying it and making the most of it all. No one's turned you into a Buddhist yet, then?! Hope the Sweet FAs book kept you going for a while. Remember to beg, borrow and steal everything in English you can get your hands on from any hostel! V v envious, mate. Keep safe, take lots more pictures and most importantly, have a fantastic time. Catch up soon, love Caroline xx
ps Bump report #1 - is getting bigger v quickly, as is his/her kicking ability ...

Hi Simon,
30C sounds good to us. Christmas here has really started as we listened to carrols from Kings. It is damp, gray and cold here - Slade are still on the radio.
We will be hosting Lindas family so will have a housefull - should be good. We will phone the drunks on Boxing day, if we can find out where they are meeting. Maybe avoiding us...
Have a good Christmas and good 2008.

Christmas on the beach doesn't sound too bad to me; although Slade sound strange wherever you are!
Have a great Chrictmas, and see you in the New Year!

Hi Simon,
Happy related birthday!
When we woke up yesterday, the whole village was covered with snow. Strange thing, because 6mi further down the road there was no snow at all... We got lucky I guess. The only problem now is that Roel desperately wants to go skiing NOW, because of the snow whereas I just want to relax ;-)
Have a wonderful Xmas and a fantastic New Year...

Wish I was out there with you - you are making me want to escape the English Winter! Snow on the ground this morning!

Hi Si, Sorry it's been so long since I last kept in touch - been horribly busy with work (how depressing is that!). Good to see you're getting the hang of travelling now. I know what you mean about that 1% of the time. Great fun reading about your exploits & nice to know that the "cricket raincloud" is still following you around the world. It must seem like an old friend now!
Happy belated birthday mate and, in case I forget, have a cracking Xmas too. Keep posting the blogs as they really are a great way for us all to keep in touch with you. Caroline passes on her love.
