dzasta travels
Latish start today cos we have to go to the shops. The Sheila's seem to want to go to the supermarket and get coffee everyday. The Lugogo Mall was mostly closed cos it was early, which was a real shame. It is a really classy place with armed security guards patrolling the outside and TWO security at every shop to metal scan everybody. There was a menswear shop that had Safari suits and heaps of other cool gear and I'm sure I coulda found something to suit me. I couldn't get anything cos we had to go but I going to try to get our driver to stop there on the way back.. The sheilas have had their supermarket and coffee fix so we are off again..
We stopped for lunch in a paddock and there were some young boys with their long horn cattle there. By the time we finished lunch there were about a dozen urchins hanging around to see what the strange mzungu were up to.
We have changed truck and crew for this leg of the trip. The new truck has seats that recline a bit and they are soo uncomfortable. The new driver is rough as bags, he thrashes through the gears and slames on the brakes and generally drives like a rally car.
