I am here to go treking with the Gorilla's. I am going tomorrow, but here today cos some have gone today.
I went into town this morning to do some overdue shopping but it was closed. There was a big rally on about GBV (gender based violence). The governor and first lady came so the whole town closed down but only the school kids went to the stadium. Everyone else seemed to go home. I had fun and got in amongst it for a while but then got bored cos they were speaking a language I didn't understand. They marched up the street singing and dancing it was a bit of fun.
This arvo take two on the shopping. Both markets were open but they only sell second hand stuff so I will have to wait till I get back to Nairobi to get some more clothes.
Im off to Ruhengeri tomorrow to meet the gorilla's.
