It's the 21st march and we have been in Byron bay for 2 nights, we even made it 3 nights as we really like it here. Our hostel Aquarius is really nice and has a pool and really nice dorms and even free dinner - result! It's a really cool little town with loads of quirky shops, cafes, and surf hire shops. We met some nice girls Sarah and Alexa in our dorm and we all chilled on the beach watching the surfers (easy life!) and got some bodyboards for the afternoon and had a go which was fun. We walked to the cape Byron lighthouse which had great views over Byron bay. We also saw the most easterly point on the australian mainland. On the way there we walked along the coast and on the way back through some sort of rainforest. Was a good workout and we even saw some geckos and some bush turkeys on the way too!
