It's the 27th March and we have been in Brisbane for 5days. We are staying with my auntie Barbara just outside the city and its been lovely to have our own bedrooms and some home comforts (and cooking!) We have just been enjoying chilling out on the sofa watching films and washing the entire contents of our cases! We went to the cinema to see impossible which was really good -cried loads... glad we saved that until after Thailand! Paul and Boo arrive in the morning and we are really excited to see them!

We went over to my cousin Duncan's house on Sunday for a roast - done on the BBQ standard Aussie procedure! Duncan and his wife Amanda have two girls, Talia and Vivvy who are both really cute. It was really nice meet them and spend a bit of time with them. We went in the pool, watched kids movies and played hide and seek!

We took the train into the city and went for a wander round the shops and the south bank. There's a man made beach by the side of the river which is really cool, and you get a great view of the city. We had a look round the museum as it was free -result! We saw some life size dinosaur replicas and loads of stuffed animals and aboriginal bits.

We went to Lone Pine koala sanctuary one day and took Vivvy along with us too. We had the obligatory australian koala cuddle photo and they are so cute and sleepy. We fed the kangaroos and saw loads of other animals native to oz.
