Well only stayed in Kaikoura for a night but we arrived in the afternoon and it was a fantastic day. I decided to try something different and go swimming with seals. That was pretty cool and we were lucky that there were loads of seals around and we ended up having these two seals swimming and playing with us for about an hour. I had to wear a thick wet suit though and boots because the sea is too cold. But it was pretty cool and good to do something different. There are seals absolutely everywhere in New Zealand so it was something different to do instead of just looking at them on a rock. Nothing else really happening in Kaikoura, sat on the beach for the rest of the afternoon as it was still really nice and then we had to leave early the next day for the next destination.
