We arrived at Da Nang at 5am and took a bus to Hoi An. We arrived at the hotel at seven and snoozed till the group meeting at 12 midday.We rented bikes and cycled around the town with Steve to get our bearings. A chilled day by the pool after a lie in. We had a huge lunch with Billy then bought some sandwiches for our night train to Da Nang, the nearest train station to our destination Hoi An.We left the hotel at 6.30 feeling relaxed before our train ride.

Started off the day with a trip to some remaining original Viet Cong war tunnels in the Cu Chi area just north of Saigon. Woke up early for the 7 hour trip toHo Chi Minh City (Saigon). We arrived in the afternoon and had a look around the local market and had some 'Fanny's Ice Cream'.
