We woke up at 8am to meet the group and hop on a private bus to the cambodia/vietnam boarder. The boarder was more what we expected, a thin long road with a floodplain either side. More like the 'no mans land' that you'd imagine. A longer wait than the thai/cambodia boarder and a lot more sweaty but only a short drive to our next hotel...
We arrived at our Chau Doc hotel mid afternoon and were so shocked at how nice our rooms were! An actual power shower and not a wet room!
5pm motorbike tour to watch the sunset from the top of the nearby mountain/hill with a Saigon beer in hand. Incredible view. Perfection!
When we got back we went for dinner with billy to a nearby floating restaurant. Our transport was pretty unconventional, squeezing 3 of us on a small trailer attatched back of a crazy man's bicycle.
Dinner was incredible, clearly a popular local haunt, some of the best rice we'd ever had and for a very cheap price. We walked back and managed to get back to the hotel just as they were shutting up.
