Finally here after a stupidly long journey. Hostel is very nice (life saver that it's got air con!!). Been really nice looking round the city of Bangkok. Still struggling to understand the difference in price, it's so cheap out here! Got a tuk tuk (three wheeled taxi thingy) to the different temples, and ive gotta say it, even though it's a third world country, they can make buildings a hell of a lot better than we can. If you think wells cathedral is impressive, wait until you see the temples!!! We're meeting eddy c tomorrow and heading up north to Chang mai. Going trekking for three days, elephant trekking, waterfall swimming, seeing the long neck tribes women (add a metal ring each year to their necks!!). Really looking forward to getting out of the city and seeing the rural areas. X
