After leaving Gili T and leaving Tim, Matt and I have, too say the least, been a pair of ill wetbags. Just leaving Gili T after 5 nights there. Our last few nights in Lombok were very nice. We went on a small trek to a few waterfalls just at the bottom of the Rinjani volcano. They were very impressive and was incredible to swim under them and feel the weight and force of the water! So on the boat over to Lombok we decided to look at the map and decide what we wanted to do. 5 minutes gone, and we had decided to rent a car for 10 days and try and tackle the roads - which we hadn't seen yet - along with not damaging the car. So we've just spent four nights Bali. We arrived there on the 23rd after travelling across Java. First things first, when we arrived into the western port of Bali, Gilimanuk, there must have been hundreds of Indonesian women of all ages who smiled, blew kisses, laughed at us, jokingly slapped our arms as well as asking if we could kiss their friends! We've just left Java after 3 days of travelling across it. We meet Tim on the 20th of July after we eventually found him at the airport terminal.
