HELLO, lots to write about today! First got a tuk-tuk to Jim Thompson's House, it's a tourist attraction of a typical thai house with lots of antiques bought by an Amercian. Was actually quite good, the tour guide was really attractive and after the tour pucked up the courage to ask her out to dinner tonight...but she decline, was washing her hair or something, guess it's a universal excuse! Oh, and the tuk-tuk driver tried to rip me off by driving up and down, up and down parallel streets for ages to get to his house... he wanted 200 bahts but i refuse to pay him that and settled on 100... he must think us brits are a bit soft in the head. Boarded a sky train to his really posh shopping complex which had displays of sports cars in the walkway... got a photo of a Lamborgini Mercellolago (very cool). Felt like going back to hotel after so Dangerous Doug decided to hop on a motorcycle taxi, very scary, one point we were doing 60 kph (40 mph)..my fingers ached from holding on so tightly. In the evening, i went to a thai boxing arena, watch 4 fights, each had 5 rounds of 3 minutes,, reckon i could take them on (in my dreams, hard little B*******. Heading to Pattaya tomorrow for a bit of the beach life... more soon Doug
