Alright well onward with this positive thinking... Since the last time I wrote I have had two eight day cruises and I am working on my 3rd this week. It has been quite the adventure trying to figure out this ship life but I think I almost have it down. Seeing all these wonderful new places is exciting... I got off the ship a few days ago and got to see a little of Taiwan which was fun, and this week we are going to go to Korea, China, and back to Japan. I did hear a bit of bad news this week ... I am never allowed off the ship in China! :( and in a few weeks our home port is in china! On the positive side that should keep me from spending money that I don't have. Like we just got done having two days in shanghai and everyone got off and went shopping. So not being able to get off in the most popular shopping stop is prob a blessing :) well anyway let me tell you a little about my ship. So it's pretty small compared to all the other royal caribbean ships but it's probably a good way to learn ship life for the first time. The salon is where I spend most of my time...I am there 8am to 10 pm majority of the week except when I get a half day off to go see the ports. The girls in the spa ate pretty interesting. There are 4 from Japan, 2 from south Africa, 1 from London, and 1 from Ireland. We all get along pretty well so at least that helps us get through the days. We are pretty much slow all the time and when we do have clients they only want Japanese so the rest of us usually just do treatments on each other haha. I do wish I could make some money but I guess traveling for free and having massages and facials all week isn't such a bad thing. ;) so my friends I will continue to stay on this positive track and look only at the great things God has placed in front of me !
