Up for breakfast at 7 a wide range of choices. Drove to kuranda for a train ride through the rain Forrest then a sky rail down. Also went to a butterfly Sanctuary and got to hold koalas and feed kangaroos. Such a lovely trip. Drove back to the resort Carl popped to the shops to buy shorts and flip flops then back to the hotel. Walked out the back of the hotel to the beach. It’s called four mile beach it’s so beautiful with sand but so sad you can’t swim in the sea because of the jellyfish and crocodiles. Unfortunately Doreen took a little Slow motion tumble over a stick onto the sand but bounced back!
Back to the hotel for a quick drink at the bar and a chat to Shane to bar man who was singing sams praises as he used to work here. Up to the room To freshen up and get changed back down to the bar for a few more drinks and then got the bus into town to go to water Gate restaurant for dinner. Lovely dinner got the bus back sadly Doreen had another fall as we got into the hotel foyer but luckily didn’t hurt herself,
