Our second day on the great ocean road!

We headed back on the road again, and I drove, hoping to get some of the amazing ocean road that we had the day before. Unfortunately most of the first bit of the drive was inland and foresty. We went towards The lighthouse where they filmed Round the Twist (kids tv programme!) and on the way saw loads of wild koalas just chilling in the trees which was really cool! We didn't go into the lighthouse because it was a bit expensive, but headed for a walk to a lookout anyway. Then we were on the road again!

We went to the twelve apostles after a few more stops and it was pretty awesome! We had our picnic lunch there and then hit the road a bit further and had an ice cream and a bit of a freezing swim at a beach! Then it was time to head back. We took the shorter way back which was all motorway and not really as exciting. Had a roast chicken dinner thing which was pretty good, and then I switched back to driving to get us back into town.

We managed to get pretty lost trying to find the hostel which was pretty annoying, and by the time we got back it was after 9 - and I still had to go find my hostel to check into, which was on the other side of town. It turned into a bit of a trek to get there. I took tram advice from a girl at the stop and she led me to the wrong hostel, which was very annoying. After a half hour walk across town i finally found the right place and checked in, heading straight to bed!
