UNITED KINGDOM - DAY 6
We toured around Limerick and saw King John's castle and the eldest church in Ireland before making our way towards Galway. It was a huge day of travel according to our tour guide. We covered at least 400 kilometres. Please! The British really have no idea about traveling long distances.
We arrived in Galway and stopped for lunch. In Galway we saw the window where an Irishman Lynch had to hang his son out the window for murdering someone, which is where the term 'lynching' comes from. All very sad story as the mother couldn't cope and committed suicide, then the father committed suicide not long after that. It was a fascinating story if tragic.
We climbed back on board and continued on to Dublin. That night we headed out on the town to enjoy an excellent diner with a non-stop show featuring comedy, dance, song, music and fine food. The food was nice, and the dancing was awesome. Angelique got picked to go up on stage and perform with the dancers at the end of the show. She did us proud. She is definitely our dancing star, she loves to get up and dance to anything. Pasqual thought that all the dancers were not Irish (Russian). It was a great night.
