AUSTRIA - DAY 8 - TRAVELLING SALZBURG TO VIENNA

Today we travelled from Salzburg to Vienna or as the locals call it Wien. We arrived around three and by the time we found the hotel it was to late to go out and do much. Also today is another public holiday so everything is shut. They have so many holidays over here. Every chance they get they call a holiday.

The weather has been pretty miserable the last couple of days and from all reports doesn't look like it will be improving anytime soon. We can just hope that sooner or later the rain will stop, the sun will come out and summer will arrive. We are getting sick of wearing jeans and jumpers everywhere.
