Left Bangkok and travelled Kanchanaburi today! Wow this hotel (Baan Huan Fon) is amazing...we are on the riverside of the river Kwai and there is a pool!! Spent the afternoon just lazying in the pool.

Day Two Today I went on a boat trip to visit a floating market. I have never seen so many fish swimming around before. There was so much food for sale, from fruit and veg to animals such as eels and baby turtles. Next I visited Wat Arun (temple). The steps up to the top of the temple were steep and very narrow. I had to hold on to the railing and pull myself up! Visited the Grand Palace, this was stunning to look around. Such detail on the buildings and statue...

First day of Thailand tour! Day of meeting and greeting everyone! Khao San Road is so busy, there are market stalls on both side of the road, with people either wanting to take you to Big Budda or to tailor make you a dress!! Went for a ride in a tux-tux, what an experience...how they can dodge cars is unreal!!

09 March 12 I'm here in Thailand!! It is 30 degrees and it's 7pm at night. Very warm!! After roaming around Bangkok airport in search of the bus to hotel, I gave up and got a taxi (true travelling style!) Successfully found my hotel - Sawasdee Bangkok Inn on Khao San Road. It's quite nice actually - single bed, ensuite, mini bar!! 10 March 12 First full day in Thailand. Day to relax, and get over jet lay, ready to start the tour tomorrow...can't wait!!

I'm here in Dubai...fancy airport. Went in a massive glass lift with a waterfall behind it - very nice! Waiting for my flight to Bangkok and there is a random guy doing marshal arts in the corner of the departure lounge...weird!
