I see Will and Kate beat us to Manley too!

Today we managed to get the ferry to Manley. We passed the Opera House and bridge (again some lovely photos) the crossing took 18 minutes and it cost about 10.50 aus dollars return each. Which was well worth the money for the views alone.

Once at Manley we spent most the day on the beach and doing a bit of shopping. Mike and Paul had a surfing lesson for two hours 75 aus dollars each, by the sound of things they had fun getting the wet suits on, got it up to their waists then realised (when it was pointed out to them) they were back to front. You don't realise how much energy goes into fighting the waves, paddling and attempting to get up on the board. Mikes board was quite large (it must go on the size of the person - say no more ;-)) and looked like he was carrying a giant ironing board round with him.

Back at YHA we are now going on the roof top for an Aussie BBQ - kangaroo burgers! Tomorrow is our last day in Sydney.
