The last couple of weeks have flown by.. got to Singapore and met a guy in the hostel from a town 10km away from my hometown in Italy (Bitonto) which was cool so we hung around for a few days. Singapore is bloody expensive however so the little I did see was all done on two feet but was still nice going through the different areas in the city. Malasya has been nothing short of woodpecker (refreshing change) since I arrived. Had a warm welcome in Langkawi and a great time over there renting out scooters with non working speedos and just riding along the quasi empty roads, good fun except getting stopped by police but luckily they let us drive on! The trip down south didn't start off well, felt sick throught the plane, bus & boat journey from Bangkok to Surat Thani and onto Koh Samui but tried to sleep it off along the way. Laos has been nothing short of amazing already. We crossed the border at sunset and travelled by overnight bus to Luang Prabang and arrived at sunrise. Eventually managed to find a cheap & cheerful guesthouse, dropped our bags off then headed out for some local coffee which is real strong and a brekkie baguette.
