We're back in Perth now having had a few days rest in Kalbarri. All this travelling can be very tiring indeed, don't you know? Just before we left we watched the Pelicans being fed - they were so cute and so big! Hard to believe they can get into the air.

It's fab being back in Perth. Matt and Ants are very good hosts (you'll see them in the photos) and I recommend them to anyone - although they may not thank me for that! They are old friends and we've stayed with them while we're in Perth. We got back a couple of days ago to find a fridge full of beer and a packet of TimTams in the cupboard....I think they're getting to know us very well!

The temperatures have been around 35 degrees which has been pretty unbearable but today it rained torrential stylie which is a real relief. We pick up the hire car this afternoon and set off down south tomorrow to explore Margaret River (wine region). We are on a mission to find a good white wine that isn't sweet. It may take some time and a lot of tasting but I think we can do it. Hopefully we'll be sober enough to add another entry while down there.

P.S. I did want to say that we love getting your messages - they're very funny and it's good to hear how things are going 'back home'.
