Arrived in Nazca at 7:30am & got collected at the bus station by the hostel owner, who used to live in England for a while. He let us check-in straight away, so we went & slept for a few hours as we'd not got huge amounts of sleep on the bus! By early afternoon we'd headed into town for a huge, cheap chicken & chips lunch after which I booked my flight over the Nazca lines for tomorrow morning. After reading about the safety of the planes (ie. only 4 of the 14 companies doing the flights passing the necessary standards & the number of crashes (including 2 last year!)), Rach (probably sensibly) decided against it. However it was something I really wanted to do, so......! A great meal in town, with Rach having her first Pisco sour & back to crash out.
