Bit of a nothing day today in this big commercial & westernised city, with their distinct lack of road laws & maniacal driving skills, where you take your life in your own hands when crossing the road. We checked out to check into the Gallery House with the guys & went for a stroll into town via the beach (more stoney than sand). A spot of 'posh' lunch & some dept. store shopping before heading back. A fatboy chicken dish for tea & then cards & beers at the local cheapie restaurant. They'd pretty much closed & were kicking us out by the time we left. So we headed home for more cards & an interesting conversation with the American archeologist. However I headed back earlier than the other guys as I started feeling a bit unwell.
