Something about this place seems to ensure that no matter how early you intend to get up, something just keeps you lying in! But we eventually checked out, went to The Pub for the final time (& my final pot of tea!) & then headed round the oasis to Skype the olds, before catching our 4 hour bus ride to Lima. We knew where Cal & Dean were staying, so just headed straight there. Their place was unfortunately full, but the owner found us a B&B just round the corner. So we dumped off our stuff & went for a cheap 'meaty meal' & a couple of beers with the guys. Dean headed back, while Cal, Rach & I headed down to the 'tourist' strip for a few more beers with very 'socialable' locals before heading back. (The night before, the guys had been out in a local club on the strip & got drugged through their drinks being spiked. They'd woken up in a cheap hotel minus their cash & camera!! So a place to be careful methinks!).
