Dom 'n' Rach's Adventure
Managed a slightly earlier rise today, to move dorms & then bus it over to the Panama Canal. The museum & history of the building of the canal was fascinating & really was an amazing feat of engineering. Especially for the time (1914). We were then lucky to see 2 cargo ships go through the double Miraflores lock while we had a spot of lunch. We returned to sort out our bags, get some supplies (wine, beers & snacks!) for our trip tomorrow, & then have some food at the mall, getting soaked on the way there. (I also had to sneakily wrap Rach's presents). The evening was then spent watching tv with the others in the hostel. We should've crashed out early, but didn't make it to sleep until about midnight unfortunately.
