Today we woke up at 6.15am which was 15mins later than yesterday (were getting better) and left the hotel at 8.30 again Went to a bakery for breakfast today which was very nice and walked abouy 20 minutes to the Metro to head to Tung Chung. We then got a cable car across to Lantau Island! Took about 20mins We could see the Po Lin Buddha (which is 112feet tall! And you have to walk up 268steps to get to it!) It was very spiritual and had a relaxing atmosphere....

Today was a good day We woke up at 6am!!! Eeek and just couldnt get back to sleep, we tried to stay in bed for as long as poss and eventually got up at about 7.30. Hungry(as always) we went to a near by cafe which was full of Chinese people, all staring at us as we walked in. We orderd our brekkie and paid about 4 pounds for a meal each and drinks. Bargain! We got the Metro to Hong Kong Island and walked around looking for the Zoological and Botanical Gardens...
