Our Europe Trip
Walking from Notre Dame to the Latin Quarter we stoped and enjoyed lunch in a Bistro. Off to do more walking, a bit of window shopping and we stumbled upon this gem of a Gothic style church, St. Severin. It is one of the oldest churches that remains standing on the Left Bank, and continues to be a place of worship to this day. St. Severin a devout hermit, lived on the banks of the River Seine during the first half of the fifth century. The oratory was built over his tomb.
