We arrived in Koh Phi Phi Sunday 10th Feb and had already booked our accomodation for a week as we decided to treat this week as more of a 'holiday' than 'backpacking' so we spent most of the week lazing around the pool or the beach! Was a nice change from rushing around and doing trips plus the fact that Phi Phi doesnt have cars but the chaos is replaced by bikes and the Thai shouting 'beep beep' at tourists!

Within the first few days Dave was itching to get a tattoo from seeing all the tattoo shops on Phi Phi! So after a couple of days of delibrating he decided to get a bamboo tattoo of a quote from J.R.R Tolkien 'not all those who wander are lost' (which Vicky did not agree too!)

The day after we decided to do a boat trip to the islands near Phi Phi visiting Maya Bay and Bamboo island, overall was a good day but as we had been the surin islands a couple of days before we were not too impressed! We met a lad called Sean from Leicester who we got on really well with and ended up going out with that night. We met up for a few drinks and as it was valentines day the beach parties were more eventfully than ever with fire rope/hoop all the bars were full! After a hugh slice of Phi Phi pizza Sean decided to he wanted a tattoo! The next morning we bumped into him were he showed us a tattoo of his name in Thai which he got from google!

Next stop Krabi!
