The other students are busy with exams but we're not! So Tone & me went to Granada on Thursday. The bus to Managua costs c$25 (cordobas) which is 10,- It's actually not a bus, more a small van... The bus from Managua to Granada costs c$18 but this bus was backed with people! Since we looked like foreigners, they squeezed us in front of this long queue and this was a bit uncomfy... Found Hostel Oasis and stayed in the same room as Trine! Went out to dine at an intalian restaurant and ofcourse we went to bed early!
On Friday we had breakfast by the pool... Went to Masaya to do some shopping. When we got off the bus, we came straight into the old market which were hectic and dirty! We strolled around to find the new one. The market was filled with hammocks, clothes, woodcraft, croccodile goods etc. Walked around but couldn't make up my mind... Bought me some nica sandals and a guatemalen skirt! In the evening we met Ingvild who came down for the weekend... We ate excellent food at los tres ojos (or smth like that) The rooms were hot! The fans didn't help much...had breakfast and went out to explore the city. Took one of thoose cheesy horse carriages down to the lake... The rest of the day we just relaxed, had some coffee and did some shopping... Went to eat at this thai-kind-of-place where we waited for the food for hours! It was all good though... Went to have a look at el club, not much interesting so we went back to oasis. Talked to some people there and it took me ages to make up my mind on weather we should go out to dance (where they had live music) or go to bed...We went out in the end... That was fun. Danced a lot and had fun with a local guy who said all my fav spanish expressions; Que rico! Que raro! Me gusta!
On Sunday Tone and me talked about her grandfather, again! Had lunch at the three eye-thingy and took the bus back home to Leon...
