I finally left Playa del Carmen!!! I arrived last Sunday from La Habana. I've never been asked so many questions when flying in my whole life! The main reason was that I didn't have a planeticket out of Mexico, instead a busticket. The man kept asking me why I didn't go back to Europe from Cuba...

I made it to Cancun, Mexico...That airport was horrific with all the holidaymakers and it was a huge contrast to communist Cuba! I actually think I got a culture shock... Bussed down to Playa del Carmen and stayed in a german-hotel...not too bad for a start...

Finished the exam and then I went diving with Yucatek!

Cozumel was amazing!!! One of my best days! One morning the arrogant owner of Hotel Tucan kicked me out of my room! I didn't make the resrvation with her, ONLY the guy working in the reception. Apparently that wasn't good enough!!!! F****** B*** Went back to Jean Yves (the swiss owner of Yucatek) and I decided to stay for whaleshark snorkling on Saturday(last week they saw 8!)...He offered me to stay for free in his house and so I did...

Went on a daytrip to the Coba ruins...Millions of tourists! Was ok though...

On Saturday we went to Holbox in the morning...drove for a few hours on bumpy roads. When we arrived the rain was pooring down and it was freezing in the boat! After 1 hour we started to look for the whalesharks...I was so sure that we weren't going to see any today! We saw pleican after pelican but no shark...suddenly we saw one!!! So cute!!! We had a guide, Juan and we went into the water with him, two and two...OH WOW!!!! The first passed so quickly but it was huge!!! After a while we saw loads more...at the end of the day we counted 25-30!!! Had two trips which were amazing but a bit scary; 1. Swam after one by my self, suddenly another came towards me...I swam in between theese two huge creatures that both were over 15 meters! My heart beat so fast!!! & Juan and me swam behind two huge ones hand in hand! The tailes were amazingly huge but they were swimming so slowly that we could keep up...
