Denise and I left Roatan. I think both of us were a bit sad...it was so easy and pleasant out there....our vacation from travelling! We bussed our way along the coast to a town called Tela. Found a sketchy hotel but for $3.50 what can you expect? Wondered around town and went to the beach...watched some awsome cloud-formations and some old men playing in the waves...so, not much to do around there! Had our sea-food dinner at a pub and it was so tasty! Denise and I have shared food all week and I love it...I wish everyone loved to share food... Went back to the hotel and we agreed to keep the light on in case an invasion of coakroaches (our official excuse!)

On Thursday morning we parted, she went to Guate and I went to San Pedro. Found the bus terminal and booked my ticket for El Salvador...I strolled the streets of San Pedro but it was so hot out that I had to escape to an internet place!!!! The busride to El Salvador was great! We got food!!! When we arrived in San Salvador it was dark. Found a hotel which according to LP was "the best deal in centro"...There were no window, filthy, it rained inside my room and I got an El Salvadorian man on my door asking if he could join me in bed!!!! I stayed one night and moved....

The next day I spent in Metro Centro, shopping!!! It was great to see some civilization again! I really enjoyed San Salvador, I loved the bus chaos, the loud music everywhere and people selling everything everywhere!!! Found my way around town with the local busses but when I was heading home my chinese compass threw in the total wrong direction! I ended up walking back and forth, up and down of centro in some sketchy areas...the marked was great though...perhaps the biggest one I've seen in Central America....
