Tayrona National Park
We took the local bus to Tayrona and hiked for one hour to Arreceife. We saw two species of monkeys, one red and quite big, and another black and white which were tiny and very cute!
We found a cabana at Paraiso and stayed at the cafe all afternoon...We strolled downs to the beach but the current were to rough to take a swim.
On Monday we hiked to la piscina, a bay with a beautiful beach. We stayed all day and the sea was amazing. The temperature was perfect cause the humidity is horrible. In the evening we tried a new restaurant. Great food! When we came back to the cabana, we had to encounter our new housemate, mr cochroach. They came with repellent and sprayed throughout the room and when we came back there were the biggest cochroach ever running around in our room!!! I guess he was too huge to feel anything from the poison...but again we got help and he died...puh! Well not exactly...here we go again, a new one, but this one was smaller BUT it was in my bed! Luckily we got rid of him by our self but none of us slept very well that night. The heat was horrible too!
When we were to pay for the room, we found out that we (again) had misunderstood to price and we didnt have enough money!!! How embarrasing!
Afterwards we got a bullet ride down to Santa Marta again. 90 kmt in an old bus. We were safe though, cause there were stickers of both Jesus and Maria at the front (+ a naked woman)...
Now we are in Taganga, a small fishing village close to Santa Marta at the nicest hotel ever!!!
