After Queenstown we moved onto Christchurch for a few days, Christchurch was spent sorting out Xmas shopping and posting stuff back home as well as going out to celebrate Chris and Steve’s 21st birthdays! Was a great night out and an amazing meal, one of the best steaks I’ve ever had – 500g, looked half a cow!! From Christchurch we said our goodbyes to everyone we’d met along the way! We had a massive group of us that had all got close, the 4 of us, the 3 Kate’s, Andy and 6 Irish, Geraldine, Sarah, Aoife, Brenda, George and Michael!! We flew up to Napier to spend the rest of our time in New Zealand with Chris’ family at their 2 homes, which is where we are now! We had a party for Chris’ 21st and also his cousin Hannah’s 19th birthday which were a day apart! We spent the time here just lazing about the house, making the most of the good weather, I’ve managed to get a burnt back twice now! We’ve also spent quite a few days at the Ocean Spa’s in Napier, which are heated spa pools and sauna on the sea front!! We are here now until Friday when we go back to Auckland for a night before flying out to Adelaide!! Can’t wait!!
