Up at crack of dawn in taxi on way to train station. Taxi driver was very laid back and took us for tour around Tucson Town. Consequently we arrived 15 minutes late and the train was in! Nobody was at the check on desk so John and I went onto the platform and found a Conductor who told us to mosey on through so we did.... We had roomettes on the train as the journey was 36 hours. Up early today had breakfast and took a taxi to a local shopping mall. Alan has a friend who works there in a Micro Brewery. We found Alan,s friend, the brewery has a restaurant so we had a drink and lunch there. Had a wander around the shopping mall and then made our way back to the hotel. It was a beautiful day so we decided to go to the pool it was bliss. Packed our cases as Claire,John,Nick and I are catching Amtrax Train to New Orleans early tomorrow morning...

Packed our cases ready to fly back to Tucson. Had a walk to The Hard Rock Cafe. What an amazing place with memorabilia from stars old and new from all over the world! Taxi took us to airport. June was leaving us today and flying to New Zealand to spend three weeks with her Son and his family. Said sad goodbye to June and boarded our plane for Tucson. Went for another meal at Mr Ans Alan joined us this time the food was even better.

Up early today as off to the Grand Canyon. A black limousine picked us up at the hotel to take us to the Hellicopter Port.
